Roof washing is exterior cleaning for the roof surface, where dirt, algae, and dark streaking usually build up out of sight until the whole roof looks aged.
Roofs are the least forgiving surface on a property. High pressure is not appropriate for every roof, so we assess the material and condition first and choose the approach from there.

Roof Washing FAQs
Is high pressure used on roofs?
Not as a default. Roofing materials vary in how much they can take, and aggressive pressure can cause damage. We evaluate the roof and choose a method suited to it rather than applying one setting everywhere.
Can you clean a roof with existing damage?
Sometimes, but not always. Cracked tiles, brittle shingles, or known leaks change what is safe to do. We will tell you what we see and what we recommend, including cases where we advise repair first.
Will roof cleaning stop the staining from coming back?
No cleaning permanently prevents buildup. Roofs in shaded, damp, or tree covered locations tend to show it again sooner than exposed roofs in dry areas.
What about my plants and landscaping?
Tell us about anything sensitive around the perimeter, new plantings, delicate ornamentals, koi ponds, vegetable beds, so we can plan around those areas.
Do you clean gutters at the same time?
Mention it in your request and we will include the exterior of the gutters and any related cleanup in the quote where it applies to the job.
How long does roof washing take?
It depends on the size, pitch, and condition of the roof. We give you a time estimate with the quote once we understand the scope.
